Jumping Fun

Lilly is hesitant about a lot of things.  Austin is not affraid of much.  He had so much fun playing at our friend Colton's birthday party last weekend.  Lilly was more content to just sit and watch everyone from afar while she sat safely on the mat and played with blocks.

Sleeping Babies

So maybe they're more like almost-3 year olds, but they'll always be our babies. :o)

Reading Together

I'll probably jinx us when I say that the kids have been playing together rather well lately.  Don't get me wrong, they still argue over someone touching the other on the couch or one of them touching the other's car seat in the car, but they've been pretty loving to each other lately.  We're enjoying it while it lasts!

Saturday Mornings

Who needs a handyman?

When asked what they were doing, the response was, and I quote, "We're fixing our [com]puters mom!" as if I should've known without asking.

Fun with Family

We recently spent a fun Saturday night at a hotel with Dustin's family.  The fun included...
seeing how many kids could fit on the bed with Uncle Pat and Grandpa Marlin...
snuggling with Uncle Pat and cousin Ella's dolls...
sharing cousin Will's Leap Frog game...
and swimming!!!  (Austin loved the pool; Lilly was a little more timid.
While Lil hesitated and was still thinking about getting in,
Austin had no problem jumping right in.
The morning after was a little more mellow.
The kids are still talking about the weekend at 'the hotel with the pool.' :o)

Build-A-Bear

The kids got a trip to Build-A-Bear for Christmas so we finally picked a night to go Build-A-Dog and Build-A-Cat.

They were very excited and did everything the nice 'animal stuffer' told them to do.
Lilly waited patiently for her turn to stuff her cat.
Austin getting a hug from his newly stuffed dog.
Lil squeezing her now fluffy cat.
After stuffing came bathing.  Lilly thoroughly 'bathed' her cat.  She even went back 3 different times because she forgot to 'wash' a body part or two.
Filling out the 'birth certificate' for Austin's dog...named Pluto.
If you can't tell, Lil's pretty independent.  She tried doing her 'birth certificate' alone for her cat...named Daisy.
All in all, Build-A-Bear was a huge hit, and I anticipate several trips in the future for us.  :o)
